PRP Facial Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Facial Treatment

Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy is based on the body’s own healing capabilities to help to slow down the ageing process. PRP Therapy is effective because it utilises the body’s natural source of platelets, is minimally invasive and requires little downtime.

Why choose a PRP Facial Treatment?

PRP Hair Loss Treatment

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Hair Loss Treatment

Much like the PRP Facial, the PRP Hair Loss Treatment involves the collection of concentrated platelets from an extract of your own blood and is for the most part, non-invasive.

The blood is then placed in a centrifuge which separates the platelets from the rest of the blood to recover the platelet-rich plasma, this is then safely administered to your scalp using natural fillers via microinjections

  • Promotes fuller natural-looking hair
  • Substantial, visible increase in hair regrowth

Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy for Facials and Hair Loss

A platelet-rich treatment is produced from a patient’s own red blood cells and is the most important component of a PRP treatment, both facial and hair loss. Blood is usually drawn from your arm, and in a centrifuge, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and other blood components are separated and then injected into the areas that require treatment to improve collagen formation, follicle regrowth and regeneration naturally.

This therapy is commonly used on the face, especially around the eyes, mouth, and nose, as well as the backs of the hands, scars, and all over the body, most commonly the décolletage as well as the knees, to reinvigorate and rejuvenate skin. It is also very common on the scalp to promote hair growth.

You should expect some soreness, swelling, and redness at the injection sites right after the treatment. Any negative effects, however, will subside in a day or two. Swelling, redness, flaking, and sensitivity go away within 48 hours. Patients are advised to reduce exposure to the sun as much as possible.

As with other types of micro-needling, you’ll require more than one treatment to see full results. Most people need anywhere from three to six sessions, with one session done about every four weeks.
